Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 13, 2026

At FoldBook, your privacy matters. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Google Analytics processes page visits, feature events, device and browser information, referral information and pseudonymous identifiers. This data is not necessarily fully anonymous. We do not send your design text or images in analytics events.

Patterns are generated primarily in your browser. Selecting Save progress stores design text, normalized relief silhouette thumbnails (if using an image), book specifications, fold measurements or cutting profiles, and the last viewed leaf in localStorage on this browser. The project library does not automatically upload or sync this data. My Projects supports deletion, backup export and import. Other people using this browser may access saved projects; clearing website data can remove them. Keep backups safe.

2. Cookies

We use cookies for essential preferences (such as language), basic analytics, and performance improvements.

3. Advertising and Third Parties

We use Google Analytics and Google AdSense. Google and advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, and process IP addresses and device or browser identifiers for analytics, advertising, fraud prevention and measurement. Personalized advertising may be used where applicable and subject to required consent. Data is shared with these service providers.

Google data use and advertising controls

You can manage browser cookies and use the links below to review Google’s data use and ad preferences. Where a consent panel is available, use it to make or change your choices. Declining analytics or advertising should not prevent local generation and export.

4. Your Rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data.
